Between ethane and ethene, ethane has a higher heat capacity. Why?

Ethane has more freedom due to the C-C single bond vs. ethene with a C=C double bond which is more rigid. Having more freedom means a higher heat capacity.

Ethane has a higher number of bonds compares to Ethernet, when calculating bond enthalpy values Ethan's will be higher.
