Diathermic walls

Can someone explain what diathermic walls are? I don't understand the definition in the textbook.

A diathermic wall is any wall that allows heat to be exchanged between a system and its surroundings.

Would adiabatic walls be almost the opposite of diathermic walls?

Yes, adiabatic walls do not allow heat transfer between a system and its surroundings.
