HW Week4
So I'm trying to do the problems in the 7th edition book section 4A but I don't really think Lavelle's lecture today or last Friday covered section 4A. Which sections did Lavelle cover so far in thermochemistry so I can do for this week's hw?

Re: HW Week4
I would start with section 4D since for the most part covers topics such as Hess's Law and standard enthalpies of formation.

Re: HW Week4
So far in lecture, we have gone over most of 4D and 4C. 4D goes over standard reaction enthalpies, combustion, and Hess's Law, so the homework from that section should be helpful. 4C goes over some of what we covered today in lecture, such as heat capacities.
Re: HW Week4
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew the sections for the 6th edition that Dr. Lavelle has lectured. I ran into a similar problem when I was doing the homework before the lectures on this topic started and then realized the lectures didn't go in the same order as the textbook.

We have not gone over work in class yet so we cant really do 4A, look over 4C and 4D, I found better/more clear problems in those! I think we just arent doing this unit in order.
