whats the difference between a bomb calorimeter and a normal one and how does this affect calculations?

A bomb calorimeter take into account constant volume, whereas a normal calorimeter, such as a coffee-cup calorimeter, utilizes a constant pressure.
When doing calculations involving a calorimeter, the value of the specific heat of the calorimeter using a constant pressure will be greater than the specific heat of a calorimeter using constant volume. Which one you end up using would depend on the context of the problem, however.
