Can someone explain to me how to do 4A.13 in the textbook, the answer book doesnt seem to be answering the question it is asking.

Since it's asking for the change in the internal energy of the reaction mixture resulting from the neutralization reaction, you use the relation of q(reaction) = -q(calorimeter) like the answer book shows. I think we are supposed to assume deltaU = q for this problem because there is a constant volume.
