Types of Systems

In homework problem 4A part c, the answer key states that a bomb calorimeter in which benzene is burned is an isolated system. Can someone explain this to me?

Bomb calorimeters are constructed so that there is a constant volume so no gases escape during the reaction. This makes it a closed system.

Bomb calorimeters are isolated from the environment, creating a constant volume where nothing can go in or out of the system, which makes it an isolated system.

Since the volume is constant, the pressure continues to build up as the reaction continues. Therefore, the special calorimeter for this type of reaction is a bomb calorimeter.
