Bomb calorimetry

Postby Tai Metzger 3K » Wed Feb 05, 2020 2:13 pm

Hi! I was wondering how solving bomb calorimetry problems differs from other heat exchange problems. Thanks!

I think that because the volume is held constant that points toward using the q equation that is based upon a constant volume.

A normal calorimeter is an open system, while a bomb calorimeter is a closed system, so you can assume volume is constant
