I don't think we will need to memorize them, most values we need should be given to us on the formula sheet.

On Dr. Lavelle's website, there equation sheet lists a few Cp values, and I highly doubt we will be required to memorize anything related to specific values.

For ideal gases, you might want to know that for an atom Cp=(5/2)R and Cv=(3/2)R. I believe the first one is given on the equation sheet.

There's no need to memorize the values. They'll be given if we even encounter related questions.

I'm pretty sure we won't have to memorize them, but it never hurts to memorize them just in case :)

We won't be expected to have these memorized. Perhaps only for water would it be expected that we know, but that's not a gas. So for your question, no :)

I don't think we have to memorize actual values but we will have to know what they mean.
