4C.3 Calculate the final temperature and the change in enthalpy when 765 J of energy is transferred as heat to 0.820 mol Kr(g) at 298 K and 1.00 atm (a) at constant pressure; (b) at constant vol- ume. Treat the gas as ideal.

How do you differentiate what to do for constant pressure vs constant vol?

you need to plug the equation into PV=nRT in order to proceed with this problem since it is stated in the problem that it is an ideal gas. Thus, for constant pressure you solve for the P and for constant volume you solve for the V.

You will also need to use q=c*g*deltaT in order to deal with the temperature changes in the problem.
