Delta H and Delta U

In what situations is delta H=0? Also, in what situations is delta U=0? Is delta U always 0 in isothermal reactions?

For an ideal gas, in an isothermal process, ΔU=0=Q−W, so Q=W. delta H is zero for isothermal reactions with ideal gases.

Delta H would be zero if the total heat energy of the reaction is zero but remember that only in constant pressure is delta equivalent to q. Delta U is always zero in an isothermal process because the internal energy is proportional to temperature and since the temperature remains constant the change of internal energy would be zero.
