Molar heat capacity is just the heat capacity per mole, but the specific heat is a little less obvious in that it's per gram.

Specific heat capacity will usually use the weight of the molecule that is being used, like grams or kilograms. Molar heat capacity calculates how much the molecule will change by one degree celcius, given the amount of moles.

Molar heat capacity is a measure of the amount of heat necessary to raise the temperature of one mole of a pure substance by one degree K. Specific heat capacity is a measure of the amount of heat necessary to raise the temperature of one gram of a pure substance by one degree K.

Molar heat capacity alludes to the amount of energy required to change the temperature of one mole of the substance while specific heat alludes to the same concept but for one gram of the substance.
