hi can someone explain the difference between specific heat capacity, heat capacity, and molar heat capacity?

The heat capacity is the amount of heat necessary to raise the temperature of an object by 1 degree C, whereas specific heat capacity refers to the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of the substance by 1 degree C. Molar heat capacity is basically the same as heat capacity, but to raise 1 mol of a substance by 1 degree C. Hope this helps!
