Should we convert our answers to kJ?
When solving equations, should we always convert our answer to kilojoules? In this example from lecture, the answer is -2884.2 J, which is then converted to -2.9 kJ.

I believe that it should be converted to kJ, but usually it will specify what units to calculate in. For the midterm, you can also just look at the answer choices and see what units they give in the choices to see what you need to calculate to.

kJ are common units we use for energy, but it depends on the problem and what it calls for.

We should typically convert our answer to kJ units, unless told otherwise in the problem or directions.

Most of the time the answer will be in kJ, but depending on what the problem is asking then it could change.

I think it depends on the problem and how large the answer is. If it is large, it might be easier to express the answer in kJ.

I think usually these problems are expressed by kj but some problems may ask for something different.
