Calculating heat, work, and change in internal energy

Postby Melissa Papuc 2J » Sat Jan 09, 2016 5:12 pm

What is the difference in calculating heat, work, and change in internal energy for a system under constant volume and a system under constant pressure?

Heat transferred under constant volume can be calculated by finding the change in internal energy, ΔU. Heat transferred under constant pressure can be calculated b finding the change in enthalpy, ΔH.
