Re: Avogadro's constant
Avogadro’s constant is N= 6.02214 x 10^23 mol-1. It’s used to make large numbers easier to handle
Re: Avogadro's constant
To interpret this, it is easier to think of 1 mole of things is equal to Avogadro's constant. I always use the 1 dozen = 12 things while analyzing what Avogadro's constant means.
Re: Avogadro's constant
Avagadro's number is a constant that is mainly used for atoms but it can be used for anything. The constant we use is N= 6.02214 x 10^23. One mole is equal to avagadro's number of atoms.

Re: Avogadro's constant
Avogadro's constant is 6.02214 x 10^23 mol^-1. Additionally, it is useful when comparing large numbers.

Re: Avogadro's constant
Avogadro’s number, number of units in one mole of any substance (defined as its molecular weight in grams), equal to 6.02214076 × 1023. The units may be electrons, atoms, ions, or molecules, depending on the nature of the substance and the character of the reaction. With Avogadro's number, scientists can discuss and compare very large numbers, which is useful because substances in everyday quantities contain very large numbers of atoms and molecules

Re: Avogadro's constant
N= 6.02214 x 10^23 mol-1 and you normally used to convert from moles to atoms when you're doing problems involving stoichiometry.

Re: Avogadro's constant
It is 6.02x10^23. It is the amount of things (anything) in one mole of that thing.

Re: Avogadro's constant
It is a constant that can be used to relate different amounts of substances. It's unit is moles.

Re: Avogadro's constant
Avagadro's constant is 6.022 x 10^23 and it's units are molecules, formula units, photons, atoms, or ions.
Re: Avogadro's constant
N= 6.02214 x 10^23 mol-1 but this does not need to be memorized because it is on the constant sheet!
