What units to use

Postby Sei Lam 3F » Mon Dec 04, 2023 9:39 am

If a question doesn't specify what units to give our final answer in, what should we default to? Thanks!

I am not 100% sure, but my best guess would be to use the SI unit for the category of answer. Ex// weight in kg or length in meters

In addition to what the above person mentioned, it might also be good to check if the question is asking for something with units at all. There are some questions that require an answer that has no unit (i.e. if you are providing a ratio or something like electronegativity which has no units).
