etermining which acid is strong

For example on determining which acid is strong (A or B) would the answer be A due to it being smaller? can you please explain thank you!
A 0.1 M solution of Acid A has a pH of 1 while a 0.1 M solution of Acid B has a pH of 5

Hi,

Yes, A has a higher acidity because it is lower on the pH scale.

The lower the pH value the more acidic it is. So a 0.1 molar solution with a pH of 1 will lower a solutions pH more than a 0.1 molar solution with a pH of 5.
