How to determine Sig figs?
How do you know how many significant numbers should be in the final answer?

For adding and subtracting: the number with the LEAST significant figures after the decimal point is the number of significant figures you can have.
For multiplying and dividing: the number with the LEAST significant figures in the entire number is the number of significant figures you can have.
Hope this helps!
