What prefixes do I need to know?

Postby paullim49 » Sat Oct 12, 2013 2:11 pm

There are prefixes in the textbook that are not in the course reader. Should we still know the ones in the textbook?

ANSWER: You should probably know the prefixes:
mili = 10^-3
micro = 10^-6
nano = 10^-9
pico = 10^-12

It would be useful to memorize the highlighted prefixes as they are the most common.
