So for the homework we turn in, do we pick seven problems from the list on the syllabus or should we turn in our answers to all of the problems but the TAs would only grade seven of them?

We're only required to turn in 7 problems(must be from the syllabus). If we want to do more, I believe that's fine. However, our TAs will only grade 7.

So I asked Dr. Lavelle about this today. You are allowed to turn in however many problems you want except the TAs will grade the first 7 problems.

Yes, we are turning in 7 problems for homework. However, even though we are only turning in 7 problems, Lavelle encourages us to do as many homework problems as possible so that we understand the material fully. (:

Is it possible to get partial credit for homework problems?

We're encouraged to do as many as we can but to make it easier for the TAs we should only turn in the seven we want graded.

We do not get partial credit for our homework problems but if you want to check your answers the answers are in the solution manual and some questions even have the work for it.

So say we complete every part of the question correctly, but right at the end we mess up on our sig figs, we'll still get no credit for any of our previous work?
