Preferred Units for Tests and Homework
Dr. Lavelle uses g.mol^-1 in lectures, but I am used to using g/mol. Likewise for mol.L^-1 and mol/L. While I know they mean the same thing, is one preferred or does it not matter?

Re: Preferred Units for Tests and Homework
I do not think it matters because they essentially mean the same thing.

I don't think it should matter, since it's just different notation forms of writing them, and g/mol makes dimensional analysis easier

Those units are exactly the same and work just fine. It is personal preference I suppose.
