The first test will be covering the fundamentals, which are the high school topics. These include balancing chemical reactions, composition, empirical/molecular formulas, stoichiometry, limiting reactant, theoretical/percent yield, dilution, and combustion analysis.

If i'm not wrong the topics covered for the first test will be a review of high school topics, fundamentals of chemistry, balancing equations, knowing how to find limiting reagent, calculation mole, finding number of atoms (Avogadro's constant which is 6.0221 X 10^23), stoichometry, dilution of solutions etc. Dr Lavelle also sent out a class email to tell us that it's a 50 minute test, with 7 questions, all constants/equations and the periodic table will be given as well.
