Are there practice problems for the fundamentals section? If so, where is it?

Practice problems are listed on "Outline 1: Review of Chemical & Physical Principles" under the Learning Outcomes section on Lavelle's Chem 14A website. All assigned questions can be found in the 7th edition Chemical Principles textbook.

In our Chemical Principles 7th edition textbook, the practice problems for each of the fundamental sections are located at the end of every section.

If you want more practice problems aside from the ones Lavelle assigned, I would highly recommend participating in the Step-Up Program and Workshops. Some clubs also provide their own Peer Learning Groups for certain subjects. Khan Academy is also a great resource to use.

For the peer learning groups/sessions, do you come ready with your own questions, do other people lead what you're going to be talking about? Or do you guys all do it together?

For the peer learning groups/sessions, do you come ready with your own questions, do other people lead what you're going to be talking about? Or do you guys all do it together?

For the peer learning sessions that Dr Lavelle provides, the workshops are led by a UA and they provide additional worksheets on the prepared topic that everyone works through together.

The AAP program also provides peer learning facilitators who function the same. If you are eligible to join, I would recommend doing so, as they tend to consist of less people (typically around 10 max).
