Common SI Unitis

Postby Funmi Baruwa » Fri Oct 09, 2020 11:18 am

In wednesdays lecture, Dr. Lavelle gave us a list of common prefixes. Which ones will we be using for this chemistry class?

I think we would be using pico- and nano- a lot for light. For mass we would probably use kilo- and milli- frequently. For length we might use centi-, but I'm not totally sure. Hope this helps!

He gave us a lot but said that the most common ones are kilo, centi, milli, micro, nano, and pico. He also said to know what an Angstrom is: 1 x 10^-10. Hope this helps!
