Can the substituent tert-butyl be drawn having other than 90 degree angles?

Yes, it can be drawn in a formation that looks kind of like a pitchfork with the angles less than 90 degrees. I just think all that matters is that they are arranged in a manner in which there is one carbon (that is not part of the main chain) connected to three CH3's, so basically the angle does not necessarily matter.

So if we were asked on the final to draw it either way would be correct?
