Naming compounds

Will naming organic compounds, not just alkanes, be on the final? Also, in how much detail are we expected to know the functional groups etc.?

We are only expected to be able to recognize functional groups. I assume he will give us a compound (for example, CH3CH2CH2COOH) and ask us to identify functional groups (in this case, carboxylic acid). I don't think naming organic compounds will be on the final.

Will we be required to draw the functional groups?

I do not believe we will have to draw the functional groups, I think we will just have to recognize one given a structure or chemical formula of a molecule.
