Alkenes and Alkynes?

Postby Kevin Pham 2G » Sun Mar 05, 2017 8:41 pm

We do not need to study alkenes, cycloalkenes, and alkynes for Quiz 3, but since they are included in the HW, will they appear on the final?

I was under the impression that alkenes were in the quiz 3, since they are integral to electrophilic addition? check with your TA. Alkynes and cycloalkenes should not be

Thank you! Alkenes did appear on Quiz 3 for electrophilic addition, but we did not have to name or draw them ourselves (which was my original question). It looks like the final will also cover alkenes and alkynes (as we just learned that following Quiz 3).
