Alkyne rotation

Alkyne rotation
When drawing Alkynes, how come the line structures do not bend (as they do in alkanes and alkenes)? Does this have to do with the inability of triple bonds to rotate?

Alkynes are drawn straight because triple bonds are sp hybridized and have a bond angle of 180 degrees
