Exponents in m.s ^-1

Postby keeganslomba3g » Fri Oct 13, 2023 11:37 am

When the unit m.s^-1 is used in an equation involving other exponents, do they interact? For example, if we have (2.38 x 10^3)/ (4.4 m.s ^-1) does it become .541 x 10 ^2? I am confused about how the ^-1 is interpreted...

If I remember correctly, I don't think they interact. You would just get 10472 as your answer.
