Sig Fig Question

If you have a measurement of 5.00 grams and another of 5.000 grams, which one has more significant digits, and why?

A measurement of 5.000 grams has more sig figs than a measurement of 5.00 grams, as 5.000 is significant to 4 figures, while 5.00 is significant to three figures.
