Does that mean that we have to report 6 sig figs in our final answer if we use Planck's constant since the provided constants sheet provides 6 sig figs? I'm not sure if my weak handheld calculator stores enough figures for that.
In some of the questions, such as those involving emission spectra where n values are integer values, the number that would determine the sig figs would be the constant...how many sig figs you used in the constant when doing your calculations. Now, if you are calculating an integer, such as an n value, as long as you use enough sig figs in your calculation (you did not omit several sig figs in terms of constants etc.) you will be able to get the correct integer answer.
