Ok so let's say the figures given in a problem are 250.0ml, .0350M, 33g. So would the final answer have to be in 2 sig figs, but we don't round during calculations?

if you are given 33 grams in the problem, then yes your answer would be to two sigfigs. You can round during the calculations and if you do it all correctly you should get full credit. However, I tend to round at the very end because if you round too early, it could make you answer be off by a lot.

When calculation the problem you should keep the value in its original form so the number at the end is precise. Also, you would have two sig figs in the answer because you look at the least amount of sig figs in the question.
