for test 1

for test 1, will we get points off if we round to the wrong significant figure?

For the test, it is strictly important that you round to the correct number of sig figs. In order to make sure you round to the right number, you should look at the problem and use the least amount of sig figs presented in the question as the amount of sig figs in your answer. Presenting the incorrect number of sig figs will give you the incorrect answer.

There might be some points marked off, but I believe there is still partial credit! And as long as you are aware of it for the next test, you should be fine
