Nucleophile

Postby 804899546 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 9:34 pm

What is a nucleophile, and how would we determine what molecule is acting as one if we are given an equation?

Nucleophiles donate electrons just like a Lewis Base

A nucleophile is a chemical species attracted to positive charges. Therefore, they would be negatively charged.
