Organic Naming
For organic naming with functional groups. Ether is the one one that is named in the beginning of the molecule?

For ethers, we always divide the chain into two parts: the chains on either side of the oxygen. The oxygen will always go with the shorter chain which consists of a substituent and since substituents go in the beginning of the name, so does the ether. Yes. The ether is named in the beginning of the molecule.
