Amines

For amines, in the course reader, it says that an R group connected to NH2 is a primary structure, so type would CH3CH2NH3(ethyl ammine) be? And just for clarification, is the ammine group always N connected to one or more C?

when you are talking about amine, then N always attaches to R. For your former question, by definition, it is the primary amine. If you are wondering why it is NH3 rather than NH2, please try to determine the formal charge for N.
