Drawing arrows for nucleophile/electrophile

p.151 of the Organic Chemistry textbook shows the reaction of H3CH2COH2 --> H3CH2COH + H+

my question is, why is it a double arrow? the H shared 1 electron and the C shared 1 electron, so technically, didnt the C already have an electron and it should be a half-headed arrow?

clarification would be appreciated

There are 2 electrons total in the bond.
