We didn't really go too in depth in lecture on functional groups. What exactly would we be expected to know for the final?

What we covered in class and review sessions.
Identify the functional groups we covered.

You just need to be able to identify the 6 different functional groups gone over lecture, including alcohol, ethers, ketones, aldehydes, carboxylic acids, and amines. He will most likely give you a visual representation of the overall structure and you will have to identify which functional group(s) it contains.

I think just being able to identify the different functional groups is all that is expected of us.
