Periodic Table and Molar Mass?

Is the Periodic Table given out during the Test in discussion or is the molar mass of the elements just given on the test?

I had a chem discussion this morning and my TA said the periodic table will be given on the tests given in discussion.

During lecture, Dr. Lavelle mentioned that we would always be given the periodic table on tests (even when we do not need it) so that we can feel comfortable. I am assuming he was referring to not only the midterm and final but the discussion quizzes/tests as well.
