Photoelectric effect

28. Light hits a sodium metal surface and the velocity of the ejected electron is 6.61 x 105 m.s-1. The work function for sodium is 150.6 kJ.mol-1.
A. What is the kinetic energy of the ejected electron?

I used the fromula EK=1/2 MV^2 and got 1.99*10^-19 but I don't understand how to apply the work function? I read that you have to divide the work function by avogrado's number but I don't know how to input that with the function?

Re: Photoelectric effect

Wait..I was confused. The work function and avogrado's number is for part b. So it all works out.
