Re: Units
I don't know if points will be taken off, but I would try to include units as much as possible just in case. We are supposed to show work, so this might contribute to that.

Re: Units
You don't have to put units throughout your work as long as you have the correct units at the end, but including the units can help you if a TA is correcting your work then you can get partial credit if you didn't have the correct units at the end.

Re: Units
Even if you don't have to use units throughout your work, including them can definitely help. Carrying units throughout will let you see what cancels out and will let you know what units your final answer should be.

Re: Units
I'd also recommend putting the units as if it comes to partial credit for a question it might help who ever is grading it see what and where you went wrong. It could possibly improve your chances of getting more credit for a problem that would not have gotten it otherwise.

Re: Units
I'm not sure if points will be taken down but, personally, it helps me make sure that I am not using incorrect units in a given area. Also, I do believe we get partial credit in places and I think that having units all the way through would ensure you get all the points you deserve.

Re: Units
I'm pretty sure you get docked points, cause putting down units during conversion counts as showing your work I believe. You might as well put it to be safe?

Re: Units
I am not sure about points but it is a good idea to write the units in your work just in case and so you know what the correct units should be at the end for your answer
