Replacement for Modules

Postby Ethan Breaux 2F » Sat Oct 27, 2018 10:18 am

Hey so I was wondering if there are any studying resources that are similar to the modules since there are no more of those to use. Thank you! (Also I am not sure where to post this question)

I find that Khan Academy is a great tool for practicing chem principles and applications!
Obviously, practice problems from the textbook supplemented by office hours and peer learning sessions is helpful as well.

I'm not sure if you have taken chemistry or AP Chemistry in high school, but a good resource is the ap books as they supply some of the same information learned in class. I know the ap books break it down and are much easier to comprehend than some sections in this textbook. So for refreshers, you can always turn to those. Khan Academy is the best resource in my opinion. Also, youtube videos by topics are the best.

There's a website called "learnbacon" that has chemistry and biology notes on it that are very helpful!

Since there are no longer modules, I would recommend watching a video of the specific topic or going over lecture notes and then do all the homework problems assigned. Since it is guaranteed there will be a problem from the homework on the test, it would be beneficial to go through all problems and make sure you understand them.

In addition to the resources stated above, I also really enjoy going through worksheets from workshops, step-up sessions, etc. You can just look them up on chem community!
