Khan Academy

Postby Raphael_SanAndres3C » Thu Oct 11, 2018 1:54 pm

I have been looking for other ways to review. Has anyone tried to study via Khan Academy and if so, has the review with Khan Academy more or less helpful than reviewing lecture notes and the book?

Hello, I have been using the Sapling homework online problems. I purchased the 6-month access. The extra problems help me solidify my understandings and what I need to work more on.

I have heard that the Khan Academy AP Chem review videos and problem sets are very helpful.

I also continue to get emails from a website called "OneClass" that tends to have study guides for previous midterms etc. I'm wondering if anyone has actually used the website. But on another note, Khan Academy really helped me as an extra source to study for test 2.

Khan Academy is helpful for reinforcing the topics we discuss in class and is also useful for hearing the concepts described in a different way which I have found makes it easier to retain and understand the information.

I personally find Khan Academy a useful addition to studying as, especially if you're a visual learner, Khan academy helps to clarify information that initially seems hard to understand. But I would also recommend to make sure that the videos you are watching are relevant to class material.

Khan Academy is great. I also find this website to be somewhat helpful and there are a few practice problems on here: https://chem.libretexts.org/
