MIDTERM

Postby Olivia L 4E » Sun Nov 04, 2018 12:33 pm

The midterm is just covering material up to Wednesday's lecture correct? So we don't have to know electronegativity and everything else from Friday's lecture?

Midterm covers: Fundamentals, Quantum, Bonding to end of 3.11 (6 Ed.) and to end of 2C (7 Ed), up to Wednesday.

I think that while we probably don't have to know details about electronegativity and such, we should probably generally know how the trends work and have an idea of them at least.

Know the electronegativity trends and their implications regarding ionic/covalent bonds.

Will we be given the electronegativity difference numbers for non-obvious cases of covalent or ionic bonding?
