Peer Learning Sessions

Postby Cienna Henry 1J » Tue Oct 30, 2018 5:37 pm

Will the step up sessions, workshops, and drop in sessions still happen at their normal times or have they been replaced by the midterm review sessions?

For those of you who are not in my class & regularly attend my Monday office hours: I'll be moving them to Tuesday from 3-5 in YH 1290 for this week due to the holiday. Liv will be subbing for me.

Will peer learning sessions still be at the regular times this week (with the exception of Thursday and Friday) since it is Thanksgiving week?

Does anybody know if the PLF sessions begin week 1 or week 2? I tried going to the first one, on Wednesday but nobody was there...

There was a note on the door letting students know where to go as that room was locked and key could not be found. First day hiccup which is now fixed.

Does every "step up" session cover the same thing as the others that are also on the same day?

Do we get worksheets to work on at step up sessions or peer learning sessions?

I believe the step up sessions aren't as rigid with sticking to a certain topic and will accommodate any questions you have.

The ones that I've gone to did not give me any worksheet... but maybe the drop ins do?
