Questions in Chapter

Postby Maria Solis Disc 1G » Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:58 pm

For some of the questions from this chapter, in the textbook, they give the names of molecules rather than formulas in the questions. For test 3 will we be expected to know any basic molecules yet by the name.

I believe that knowing the name of molecules is not necessary for our course. If you are really worried, just ask your TA for the basic molecules that someone should always know like water and carbon dioxide.

They are not going to test us based on our knowledge of a molecule. It will almost always be provided to us on the exam.

Knowing the name is not necessary, usually the formula will be given.

Usually it is given or just commonly known molecules, but I think you can ask your TA and they can tell you.

Dr. Lavelle said that we would go over naming on Wednesday. Does that mean that it will be on the test?
