Can We Take The Final In Pencil?

I'm pretty sure only the things written in pen will be graded. If anything, start with pencil and then write out your answer in pen when you're confident with it.

I think you are only allowed to write the tests in pen. Atleast for the midterm they mentioned that only what was written in pen would be graded. This seems reasonable to since we receive our tests back after they are graded and things written in pencil can easily be erased.

I'm the same way and don't like using pens but what I do is do my work in the small space of a corner paper and once I get it down I just rewrite it bigger on the other corner. Hope this helps. (:

The final has to be in pen, at least that is what will be graded. I'm pretty sure you can use pencil to work out some problems though but you have to remember to trace it in pen in order to get credit.

That's correct, the final must be written in pen.

It must be written in pencil if you're think you will need to ask for regrade, but this is a final so i doubt it will matter.

I also hate writing in pen, but i usually do problems that have more change of being erased (lewis dot structures) in pencil first, then writing over it in pen once im sure about my answer.

Since Test 1 was already only allowed to be written in pen, it's likely the midterm and final will also need to be in pen.

The syllabus says that only pens are allowed on tests. I have always used pencils for homework and other classes because I always am erasing things. But with a pen I have just started putting a large "x" over whatever I would normally erase.

No the final has to be taken in pen. But I feel the same way. Usually I would just roughly do the work in pencil and then go over with pen. It takes a lot of time so I just use pencil on the questions that are more difficult.
