Bent Structures
Would it be appropriate to say that all bent or angular moleculars are polar? Because even if the atoms are the same (such as in ozone, O3), the molecule is still polar, or is ozone just a special case?

Re: Bent Structures
I believe all bent molecules are polar due asymmetry caused by the lone pair(s) located on the central atom.

Re: Bent Structures
I believe it will be appropriate to say so if electronegative difference exists, resulting in polarity.

Re: Bent Structures
I believe it is appropriate to saw all bent structures are polar due to their shape. There will always be a net electronegativity pointing in one direction since they cannot cancel each other due to the bond angle.

Re: Bent Structures
It's hard to specifically calculate bond angles but just know that bent structures that have more lone pairs will have a smaller angle.
