bar or atm

In the textbook the units are in bars but in Lavelle's slides he uses atm. Would we need to know how convert between the two during tests or will the question give us the units?

I don't think we will need to know since there are so close anyways and I think whatever the question uses the answer will be in those units.

I think Bar and atm are used interchangeably because the values are close.

Both are approximately the same thing, but atm is the SI unit for pressure so I'd put your answer in atm if not stated otherwise.

I believe we can use either but I know my TA said that since the textbook uses bar so would she. Just make sure you know that they are pretty much equal
