Homework for week 2

Postby Jesse Kuehn 1B » Mon Jan 14, 2019 6:50 pm

What problems are we supposed to use for the homework for week two? should it be from the chemical equilibria outline or the acids and basis outline?

Either one, as long as it's relevant to what we're learning in class and not too far ahead.

The problems from acids & bases are more relevant to what is currently being covered in lecture, but you can do problems from chemical equilibrium too since we're still doing ICE tables.

You can focus on either chemical equilibrium problems related to ICE tables and any problem related to the acids and bases chapter since that is what is currently being covered.

I think as long as you turn in work from either section you will be fine, such we are still going over both in lecture.

you can always do homework from any relevant section, or whichever section you think will help you the most to practice at the level you are at

As long as the homework problems are relevant to the content covered in lecture in the past week, you should be fine. Like said above, the main focus should probably be acids and bases as well as the ICE tables in chemical equilibria.

Week 1 homework should definitely be equilibrium.

Week 2 homework can be either equilibrium, or acids and bases, or some of both as it is all ‘recently covered material’.

Week 3 homework should definitely be acids and bases.

On an email given Lavelle said homework can be either equilibrium, or acids and bases, or some of both as it is all ‘recently covered material’.

Anything that's not too far off base from what we've learned so far is good. This all relates to chemical equilibria.
